Admission Process for Indian Students

To ensure a smooth and efficient application experience, please follow the steps outlined below when applying for a programme with LSBF.

Students are responsible for checking with the relevant embassy or consulate in their home country regarding any specific entry or visa requirements prior to travel. In some cases, students may be required to obtain an additional entry visa before commencing their journey.

Prospective students are encouraged to review the programme entry requirements carefully before applying. This ensures that all information submitted is complete, accurate, and aligned with the chosen programme.

Applicants are required to complete the International Application Form, available through LSBF or its authorised representatives. The following documents must be submitted along with the application:

Certified English translations of all submitted documents, where applicable

Payment of the prescribed application and student visa processing fee

Recent passport-sized photographs (white background)

Certified copies of all academic qualifications

A complete copy of the passport, including all pages (with a minimum validity period as required)

Upon receipt of the completed application form, required fees, and supporting documents, LSBF will review the application to assess eligibility. Applicants who meet the entry requirements will be issued a Letter of Acceptance via email.

PFollowing the issuance of the Letter of Acceptance, LSBF will initiate the relevant student visa application process with the appropriate immigration authorities. Visa processing timelines may vary and are subject to approval by the authorities.

Pre-Arrival Information for International Students

Please review the following important information carefully before making your travel arrangements:

1. International students may enter the country regardless of vaccination status. However, entry requirements may vary depending on airline policies and should be confirmed prior to travel.
2. Students must enter the country within the validity period of their Visa Approval Letter. Failure to do so may require a new visa application.
3. A valid passport with sufficient remaining validity, as stipulated by immigration authorities, is required upon arrival.
4. Pre-departure and on-arrival COVID-19 testing is no longer mandatory, unless specified by airlines or local authorities.
5. International students may be required to complete an arrival or immigration declaration prior to or upon arrival. This must be presented at immigration checkpoints for clearance.

Admission Process for Indian Students

Indian students applying for full-time programmes with LSBF Singapore are required to complete the relevant admission and visa formalities in line with the country of study’s immigration regulations.

Prospective students may submit an enquiry through the official application channels or connect with authorised LSBF representatives in India for guidance on programme selection, documentation, and the admissions process. Our team is available to support you at every stage, from application to enrolment.

Indian students will undergo pre-programme counselling with LSBF Education Consultants or authorised recruitment partners. During this stage, applicants will receive detailed guidance on programme structure, fees, refund policies, appeal procedures, and other key academic and administrative information.

Applicants are required to submit the following documents for evaluation:

  • Completed application form
  • Certified copies of all academic qualifications and transcripts (from secondary education onwards or equivalent)
  • Proof of English language proficiency
  • Clear copy of a valid passport (bio-data page and last page)
  • Certified copy of birth certificate
  • Recent passport-sized photograph (white background)
  • Completed student pass application forms (where applicable)
  • Proof of relevant professional membership (for selected professional programmes)
  • Payment of the application fee

All documents must be submitted in English. Where documents are issued in another language, both the original and certified English translations must be provided.

Applicants who do not meet the minimum English language requirements may be required to sit for an English Placement Test (EPT). Based on the evaluation outcome, successful applicants will receive a Conditional Letter of Offer along with an Acceptance of Offer Form.

Once the application is approved, applicants will be informed of the outcome by the LSBF admissions team or authorised representatives. To proceed, students must sign and return the Acceptance of Offer Form and submit the required supporting documents, which may include:

  • Signed Acceptance of Offer Form
  • Proof of financial capability (such as bank statements or savings records), where required for visa processing
  • Employment details of the student and/or sponsor (if applicable)
  • Marriage or family-related documents, where relevant

At this stage, applicants will also be briefed on the Student Contract and Advisory Note, and informed of any additional documentation required to complete enrolment.

Upon receipt of the signed Acceptance of Offer Form and payment of the application fee, LSBF will proceed to submit the Student Pass application through the relevant immigration online system.

Processing timelines may vary. In general, new Student Pass applications typically take 2 to 4 weeks, while applications involving transfers from other private education institutions may take approximately 2 weeks. Please note that processing times are subject to immigration authorities and may take longer in certain cases.

LSBF is unable to guarantee the approval of any Student Pass application, as the final decision rests solely with the immigration authorities.

Once the Student Pass application is approved, students will be notified by LSBF or its authorised representatives. Applicants will then be required to:

  • Sign the Advisory Note and Student Contract
  • Sit for an English Placement Test upon arrival, if applicable
  • Make payment of programme fees (payments are accepted only after the Student Contract and Advisory Note are signed)
  • Complete all formalities for in-person collection of the Student Pass, where required

Programme fees are payable in the prescribed currency using the following payment modes:

  • Debit or credit card
  • Bank transfer or telegraphic transfer
  • Flywire
  • Cashier’s order or bank draft
  • Cheque (where applicable)

For bank or telegraphic transfers, students are required to include their full name and student reference number as stated in the Offer Letter and provide proof of remittance to the LSBF admissions team for verification. Applicable bank charges are to be borne by the student.

Upon successful receipt of payment, LSBF will issue an official payment receipt to the student.

As part of student protection measures, LSBF will also arrange coverage under the Fee Protection Scheme (FPS), which safeguards fees paid in the event of unforeseen circumstances. The FPS applies to all students, regardless of nationality, ensuring transparency and peace of mind throughout the course of study.

Admission Process for Transfer International Students

Transferring from one institution to another can be a smooth and straightforward process. If you are currently studying at another institution in Singapore and hold a valid Student Pass, you may apply to transfer your Student Pass to continue your studies with the London School of Business & Finance (LSBF).

Applicants are required to submit an application to LSBF for their chosen programme. Once eligibility is confirmed, a place at LSBF will be offered, subject to meeting the admissions requirements.

Upon receipt of the signed Acceptance of Offer Form and payment of the application fee, LSBF will submit the Student Pass transfer application through the relevant immigration online system.

Processing timelines may vary. Typically, Student Pass transfer applications take approximately two weeks, while new Student Pass applications may take two to four weeks. Please note that processing times are determined by the immigration authorities and may be extended in certain cases. LSBF does not guarantee the approval of any Student Pass application.

Once the application is approved, students will be notified by LSBF or its authorised representatives.
