Earlier in September, the London School of Business and Finance Singapore Campus, embarked on a visit to Sichuan Tourism University in China, marking the initiation of an exciting new partnership. On Wednesday 13 September, Mr Rathakrishnan Govind, CEO of LSBF Global, participated in the opening ceremony for the 2023 intake of Sichuan Tourism University. This programme is a vital component of the collaboration between LSBF and Sichuan Tourism University, China, and it welcomed 23 new students.

In his address, Mr Rathakrishnan Govind emphasised the myriad benefits that students can derive from this partnership, including acquiring superior knowledge, experiencing diverse cultures, and gaining crucial skills for thriving in a global context. These skills are poised to be invaluable for their future careers and leadership roles.

Mr Rathakrishnan Govind said: “For students under this collaborative partnership, they will gain superior knowledge, incredible multi-cultural experience and most importantly learn valuable skills in living and learning in a global environment. What they learn is going to be very valuable for their future careers and their ability to lead the new generation of workers and leaders.”

Furthermore, Mr Rathakrishnan Govind held discussions with Mr Chen Xin, Chairman of Sichuan Zhongyu Group, as well as the heads of various educational programmes, such as overseas master’s and doctoral programmes and international undergraduate and graduate programmes, to explore collaborative educational opportunities further. This visit marks the promising commencement of the collaborative educational journey between LSBF Singapore Campus and Sichuan Tourism University in China.
