The Professional Certificate in Cybersecurity is a comprehensive, industry-aligned programme designed to prepare learners for professional success in one of today’s fastest-growing and most critical technology domains. This 6 month, weekend-only programme that aims to equip working professionals with a strong foundation in cybersecurity principles, secure network design, cloud security, governance, and compliance. Through an optional campus immersion (2-day intensive bootcamp), four core modules, hands-on labs, and a mentored Capstone Project, learners have the opportunity to gain practical experience in identifying and mitigating cyber threats, managing secure cloud environments, and implementing industry best practices. The programme also supports certification readiness for globally recognised credentials from Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, and ISC2, while offering dedicated career guidance and mentorship to help participants advance confidently in cybersecurity and cloud-focused roles.

Phase 1: Core Skills Bootcamp
Core Skills Bootcamp – Face to Face (8 hrs)
This foundation phase strengthens learners’ understanding of cybersecurity principles, IT infrastructure basics, and non-technical competencies required for professional success. It looks to build core knowledge in security concepts, risk awareness, and digital environments while developing essential workplace skills such as communication, analytical thinking, and structured problem-solving. The 2-day optional campus immersion bootcamp aims to prepare learners to confidently progress into specialised cybersecurity and cloud security modules.

Phase 2: Professional Cybersecurity Specialisation
Module 1: Cloud Security Architecture & Compliance (30 hrs)
Evaluate and design secure cloud solutions by assessing organisational requirements for suitability and cost-effectiveness, analysing emerging cloud technologies for performance and compliance, examining interactions between cloud and on-site systems to identify risks, developing cost models for implementation, and creating efficient, secure migration strategies for cloud adoption.
Module 2: Security Design and Architecture: Delivered by KPMG in India (21 hrs)
Design and evaluate robust security architectures by identifying and analysing emerging security threats and their impact on IT systems, defining comprehensive security blueprints with appropriate protection profiles and targets, and developing coherent security plans that incorporate advanced systems, controls, and key design principles to ensure effective protection and resilience.
Module 3: Security Administration: Tools & Best Practices: Delivered by KPMG in India (11 hrs)
Manage and secure information systems by identifying and addressing privacy risks in data collection and access, implementing privacy controls through technologies, policies, and user awareness, and applying best practices for identity and access management, threat protection, and information protection, while ensuring effective governance and compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements.
Module 4: Career Growth Strategies for Security Professionals (8 hrs)
Develop a strategic career pathway in cybersecurity by assessing personal competencies and goals, creating a structured professional growth plan that includes certifications and continuous learning, strengthening communication, networking, and leadership skills, and aligning career progression with evolving industry trends and emerging technologies.
Assessment: Capstone Project (9 hrs)
The capstone project is designed as a comprehensive, hands-on assignment that enables learners to apply their cybersecurity knowledge in a real-world context. Participants are required to design and develop an end-to-end security solution that integrates key concepts such as threat analysis, security architecture, risk management, and compliance. This project encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, and practical implementation skills, ensuring learners can demonstrate their ability to address complex security challenges and present structured, industry-relevant solutions.
